🛠️ Scheduled Maintenance

Upcoming Singapore Monitoring Region
Start: May 19 14:30 UTC
End: May 19 17:30 UTC

On May 19, 2026, between 14:30 UTC and 17:30 UTC, our infrastructure provider will perform maintenance on core networking infrastructure in the Singapore (apac-se-sg) region.

This maintenance is expected to be seamless, and we do not anticipate downtime for monitoring agents operating from this region. However, in the unlikely event of an unexpected network issue during the maintenance window, some checks originating from Singapore may be temporarily delayed or fail.

To reduce the chance of false alerts, we recommend ensuring your monitors use multiple regions whenever possible (https://statuspage.me/docs/monitoring/monitoring-locations).

No customer data or status pages are hosted in this region. This maintenance might affect just monitoring agents operating from Singapore.

We will continue monitoring the situation throughout the maintenance window.

Service Disruption Partial Outage Resolved

Started UTC • resolved UTC • Duration

What happened

Between 00:19 and 00:25 UTC, statuspage.me and all hosted status pages (*.statuspage.me, *.hostedstatus.page, *.sp.fyi) might have been inaccessible at some regions. The disruption was caused by an external attack that overwhelmed our web server, saturating CPU resources and preventing legitimate traffic from being served.

Uptime monitoring was not affected; checks continued running normally throughout the incident.

Resolution

The service was restored at 00:25 UTC. We have since deployed mitigations to rate-limit and reject malicious traffic earlier, significantly reducing the impact of similar attacks in the future.

What we're doing to prevent recurrence

  • Tightened server-level rate limiting on TLS connection handling
  • Reduced unnecessary logging overhead that amplified CPU impact during the attack
  • Added OS-level connection rate limiting per source IP

We apologize for the disruption. If you have any questions, please reach out at hey@statuspage.me.

Let's Encrypt maintenance affecting new SSL certificate issuance for status pages (Status Pages) Degraded Performance Resolved

Status PagesStarted UTC • resolved UTC • Duration

Let's Encrypt (our primary SSL certificate provider) is currently down for maintenance. This is preventing automatic SSL certificate issuance for new custom domains and newly created status page subdomains.
Existing status pages are unaffected; all previously issued Let's Encrypt certificates remain valid and are being served normally.
